Interested in working for Grandstand Magazine, the CJC’s new student-run sports publication? Applications for roles on our 2026-27 team will be opening soon.
We’re looking for writers, editors, social media content producers and strategists, photographers, fact checkers, graphics designers, video storytellers and more. Undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to apply. Applications open at the end of March.

Grandstand Magazine is both a publication and a class offered from the UF’s College of Journalism and Communications.
Selected applicants are required to enroll in JOU4930 Advanced Sports Storytelling (3 credits) or JOU4201 Grandstand Magazine(variable; 1 to 3 credits) to be on staff. Prerequistes apply, see Professor Hunt for more information. Enrollment in the class is via application only.
While it’s not required, applicants are encouraged to commit to work on Grandstand for both the fall and spring terms.
