Ariana Pedraza

Ariana Pedraza is a member of the social media team for Grandstand Magazine. She is a third-year student at the University of Florida, double-majoring in public relations and criminology with a minor in history.

Her interests center on public relations, communications and the ways organizations connect with their audiences. She has experience in social media and communications analytics and is drawn to how data, strategy and storytelling intersect to shape media.

As a multimedia communicator, Ariana is most passionate about the storytelling behind culture. She enjoys exploring the people, trends and narratives surrounding sports while looking beyond the field. She hopes to build a communications career in music, sports and other culture-driven industries at the intersection of media and entertainment, which she believes are foundational to the human experience.

Outside of her academic and professional pursuits, Ariana is a member of the UF Gator Band. Music plays a central role in her life and continues to shape her interest in media, culture and people.
