Lily Perkins

Lily Perkins is a senior sports journalism major from Fort Myers, Florida. She is currently in her third semester writing for Grandstand Magazine and hopes to pursue a career in print journalism covering motorsports.

Although she enjoys sports reporting in any form, Lily is most drawn to stories that go beyond the final score, exploring the emotions and events that lead to it. In addition to her work with Grandstand, she has written for WRUF.com, The Independent Florida Alligator, Swimming World Magazine and DIVEBOMB Magazine.

When she’s not writing or watching sports, Lily can often be found scrolling through the New York Times Cooking section, watching Ted Lasso, or showing her friends pictures of her sister’s dog, Juno.
